Service – This refers to ‘services’ in which Carriers of Hope distributes/gives away certain items.
Service items – This refers to the individual items given out by the services listed above.
Service Owner – Person who delivers the service and the email should be sent to
Family – Group of clients usually related and accessing our services as a unit
Request or record a service for a family
Click on the ‘Clients’ tab. Search for and click on the family that you wish to receive the service.The search will display suggestions if the name has been spelled incorrectly. Under the ‘Service Requests’ heading click ‘New Service Request’. If you are requesting a service, select the service and then tick the ‘Notify Service Owner’ checkbox. If you are recording a service already received, do not tick the ‘Notify Service Owner’ checkbox. Click save. Under the ‘Service request items’ heading you can now click ‘Add New Item’ and select the items and quantity requested.
Finding item requests as a service owner
Click on the ‘Services’ tab. Under the ‘Services’ heading, click on the name of your service. Under the ‘Service Requests’ heading, click on ‘View All’.
Receiving a service request by email
When you receive a service request by email, click on the blue link in the email that says, ‘Click here to view it.’ This will take you to the service request. Click on the family name to view their previous service requests and address.
Refusing a request
If a client has requested an item that is not in stock or they are being refused it for any other reason, delete the item from the service request and make a note on the request explaining what was refused and why.
Deleting a request
If a request is made completely in error, click on the particular service request. Click on the ‘delete’ button in the top right of the screen. However, if it has been refused then follow the process above.
